Abi-K stocks a limited number of unique one-off vintage Japanese Kimono and Haori for women and men. Vintage Japanese Kimonos include the dramatic furisode, a formal kimono traditionally worn by unmarried young women in Japan. They are sourced directly from Japan and are typically from the 1950’s, sometimes older. Their incredible workmanship and traditional techniques have been handed down through generations. Haori are usually pure silk or occasionally a silk mix, cotton or synthetic. Hand stitched, with no raw seems or edges, Haori can be reversible to showcase their often exquisite linings and many feature hand embroidered ornate designs.
